About Client Lab

ClientLab.nl is a website operated by Client Lab. Client Lab is a sales and marketing service agency. We provide advice on sales and marketing processes and install, maintain, and manage our own Client Lab software for our clients.

We process personal data of website visitors, (potential) customers, and other relations in order to help them achieve their goals as well as possible. The personal data are available to, and may be exchanged among, all the aforementioned legal entities.
In this privacy statement, we explain why and in what way we process your personal data.

Personal data we process

We process your personal data because you use our products or services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.
We process the following personal data: first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, job title, organization or company name, location data, preferences, interests, consents (opt-ins) for communication, data about your activities on our websites, data about your surfing behavior across different websites, internet browser, device type, IP address, cookie ID, social ID, other personal data you have provided to us in correspondence or by telephone.

Why we process personal data

Client Lab processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide our services;

  • To handle requests for information, services or products;

  • To inform you about services or products that you have previously acquired as well as about changes (such as updates) in them;

  • To be able to reach you for the purposes of billing and collection of ordered products and services taken;

  • To tailor information and our offering of products and services on our websites, in newsletters, in telephone conversations and other forms of communication to your preferences;

  • To create a personal profile page for you after you have registered;

  • To acquire new assignments and clients (marketing);

Automated decision making

Client Lab makes decisions based on automated processing that can have consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems without human (e.g. Client Lab employee) involvement.
Client Lab uses the following computer programs or systems:

  • Client Lab software, our own CRM software platform, for automated interaction based on your customer profile (marketing automation).

How long we retain personal data

Client Lab does not keep your personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data were collected.

  • If you have signed up for certain information such as newsletters: as long as you do not unsubscribe or otherwise indicate that you want to be forgotten.

  • If we have had contact with you: we keep your data for a maximum of 26 months after the last interaction.

  • If you purchase our services or products: we retain your data for administrative purposes for up to 5 years after the end of the agreement.

  • Data about your activities on our websites, data about your surfing behavior across different websites, your browser and device type are stored by Google in anonymized form for a standard period of 26 months.

Legal bases for processing personal data

We process your data on the basis of the following legal grounds:

  • Compliance with a legal obligation.

  • Entering into or executing a contract.

  • With your consent.

  • Performing a legitimate (marketing) interest: to provide the service you ask for, to better understand our (potential) customers, and to tailor our offering to the wishes of our target audience.
